Leader Spira Mare
About Leader Spira Mare
Leader Spira Mare is a non-profit organization that works with rural development through the leader method in the pentagonal municipalities in Norrbotten - Boden, Luleå, Kalix, Piteå and Älvsbyn.
The association Leader Spira Mare promotes, conducts and coordinates local and regional development work through the Leader approach. Our mission is to promote economic, social, innovative and ecologically sustainable development through cross-sectoral collaboration between the non-profit, private and public sectors.
Leader is a successful method used throughout the EU to develop rural areas. The Leader approach is based on local ownership and involvement. We who live and work in an area are the ones who know best how it should be developed.
Through LEADER, it is possible to apply for support for development projects that contribute to the objectives of the local LEADER area strategy. LEADER projects are financed through EU funds and through national and public co-financing at regional and local level.

Full control of all board work.
The Leader Spira Mare board is made up of members from the different sectors, as well as from the different municipalities that make up the pentagonal area.
The board is elected by the association's members on the basis of their experience, expertise and network contacts, as well as their passion for the area's rural development.
The Governing Board decides on the development actions and projects to be implemented.
“With Reduca, we can now gather all board materials in one place, make decisions, create a schedule, sign meeting minutes, and conduct meetings smoothly,” says Lotta Lindgren, executive director of Leader Spira Mare.

Running, growing and developing the business.
In Reduca, it’s easy to manage projects: you can assign responsibilities, set start and end dates, attach files, create timelines with comments, and receive automatic reminders via email and text message ahead of deadlines. It’s also easy to handle the administrative aspects of a meeting process digitally—from creating an agenda to sending out meeting notices with a link to sign minutes using BankID. All important dates are automatically added to the shared board calendar, where you can also post a clear annual plan. These features make it easy for the board to run, grow, and develop the organization.
“Reduca simplifies the work for all members and saves a lot of time that would otherwise be spent distributing and signing documents via paper, mail, and email,” says Lotta Lindgren, Executive Director at Leader Spira Mare.
Long-term and stable governance.
Reduca significantly simplifies the work of boards with geographically dispersed members, as it allows everyone to access all board materials at any time, no matter where they are. This fosters a secure and stable board environment where all members can participate and collaborate effectively. It also creates a digital history that supports long-term board work and makes it easy for members to retrieve requested documentation as needed.
Reduca enables board members to access meeting notes, sign meeting minutes using BankID, and make decisions remotely, which contributes to more efficient, secure, and sustainable board work.
- Being able to sign meeting notes, decisions and minutes with BankID makes our board work much easier and saves a lot of time that would otherwise have been spent on unnecessary administrative work," says Lotta Lindgren, Director of Spira Mare.
“With Reduca, we can now gather all board materials in one place, make decisions, create a schedule, sign meeting minutes, and conduct meetings seamlessly.”
