About the Student Union Malmö

The Student Union Malmö is run BY students FOR students. The union works to give students at Malmö University a better education and a more enjoyable student life. The Student Union sits on all committees and bodies and is the students' voice in all decisions made at the university. The union organizes soup lunches, student breakfasts, music pubs and Kaffe med Kåren, all to make the students' study time as good as possible.

All planning and documentation in one place with the Board Portal.

The Board of the Student Union Malmö consists of 9-11 people and they implement the decisions of the General Council. In the board there is a paid presidium consisting of the chairman and vice chairman who lead the board's meetings, prepare matters for decisions and represent the Union's members to the media and the outside world. In addition, there are paid student representatives who sit on the university's committees and bodies and ensure that the faculty is student-friendly. Then there are also volunteers who are the student voice of the board.

- "We use the board portal in our daily work and to collect all documentation. We use the portal to sign minutes, all our planning is put in the calendar and we use Meetings to handle all information related to board meetings, says Lena Petersson, the organization administrator.

The board portal provides a good structure and overview with the board calendar, interactive dashboard and the ability to switch accounts between portals. The Student Union Malmö has one portal for the board, one for the council and one for the election committee, which creates an optimal structure and provides a good overview of all activities, decisions and documents.

- The board portal has made our board work and the planning of all activities so much more efficient. In addition to the Board having a portal, our Council also has access to one, where we gather all documentation, make all decisions and sign minutes. The Election Committee also has a portal that allows us to manage all documents linked to the application process in accordance with the GDPR, says Lena Petersson, Organizational Administrator.

Easy signing and data storage.

In the Board Portal, users can easily sign minutes, decisions, agreements and other important documents with BankID. It is easy to manage all documents that can be shared with both internal and external parties without giving access to the portal. There are smart GDPR adapted features such as automatic deletion of documents.

- In the Board Portal, we collect all documentation, make all decisions and sign minutes in a smooth way, which makes our work much easier, says Lena Petersson, the organization administrator.
