How video meetings work in the Board Portal
Users can now hold video meetings directly in the Board Portal, making remote board work much easier. Here we go through what functionalities are available, how you go about setting up a meeting and tips on how to set up remote board work with video meetings.
Video meetings allow you to hold meetings with up to 200 participants and invite both users and external people without giving access to the Board Portal.
To start a video meeting, you need to navigate to the Video Meetings tab in the menu of the Board Portal. Once there, fill in the Name, Date, Time and Description. Add the participant's email and then press save. A link is then created and the invitation to participants can be sent with any message.
During the meeting, participants can share screens, chat, raise their hands, send reactions and see who is participating. This can make it much easier when the board or a supplier wants to present something.
In the Board Portal, you can see all ongoing, completed and unstarted meetings in a clear view and see how many minutes have been used. By default, 12,000 minutes are included per year. There is also a search function that makes it easy for users to find a meeting.
Video conferencing is an agile and flexible feature that greatly facilitates the possibility of hybrid or remote working. It creates good collaboration, community and makes board work more interactive.
Here you can watch a user video of the Board Portal with video meetings.
